This vase was thrown in a set of three during Spring Concentration with Michael Kline at Penland School of Craft in 2025. This was my first time experimenting with slips and atmospheric firing. The blushing that occurs with the porcelain slip and the atmospheric firing was one of my favorite firing effects while soda firing.
