Hand Broom - North Carolina Wild Clay Woodfired with Broomcorn
This handbroom was made as a playful exploration with found materials in Mel’s yard in July 2025. Both a utilitarian and sculptural object, the broom corn and local clay are intended for every day use or as a sculptural piece.

Unfiltered North Carolina Clay harvested from Melanie Risch’s creek woodfired and reduction cooled in North Carolina.
